14 day Money Back Guarantee
Your policy has a 14 day cooling off period from the date of purchase. During this time you can cancel the policy and receive a full refund by simply returning your policy certificate. You may take advantage of this guarantee if no claim is being made or is pending and as long as travel has not been started. Refunds will be returned within 7 working days of the cancellation. Within your cooling off period you can also amend your policy by contacting us directly.

How we handle your Payment
In selling this web-based European breakdown insurance, Philosophia Limited will take your payment via Stripe, a secure payment provider. We will hold your policy premium on behalf of the insurer under a risk transfer agreement. Your cover will start once the premium has been received by us.

How to claim
Please refer to your policy summary or your policy document if you need to make a claim. You should contact the specified claims handlers as soon as possible.

Demands and Needs Statement
This insurance will suit the Demands and Needs of an individual wishing to insure themselves against unforeseen costs following a breakdown of a vehicle. Subject to terms, conditions and maximum specified claim limit. Please ensure that you read the policy wording to ensure that the policy will supply you with a sufficient level of cover.

Documentation you will receive from us
Once you have successfully completed your purchase your policy details will be shown on screen. You will also be sent an email confirming the details of your purchase together with your policy documents. If you selected to receive your documentation by post, this will be sent to you within 2-3 working days.

Your Right To Cancel
You can cancel Your policy within the first 14 days of the date with which your Policy starts as stated on Your Policy Schedule, or upon receipt of these terms and conditions, whichever happens later. Unless You have made a claim during this period We shall refund Your premium in full.
If You have made a claim during the first 14 days,travel has started or cancel Your policy after this period, then there will be no refund of premium due to You.

Amending your Policy
Changes to your Annual Trip policy can me made online. Please note that You are only covered for the Vehicle that is registered upon taking out the Policy unless You have notified us of a change during the Term of the Policy, You may change the Vehicle on Your Policy up to 4 times during the Term, however, temporary changes of Vehicle are not permitted within this Policy. If a change of Vehicle takes place during the Term of the Policy the Inception Period will apply from the date the change takes effect from. This means Means a period of 48 hours from the Inception Date before You, or anyone driving the Vehicle, is able to make a Claim on this Policy. If any of Your details change during the Term of the Policy, such as Your address, please notify Us immediately.

All personal information about you will be treated as private and confidential (even when you are no longer a customer), except where the disclosure is made at your request, with your consent, in relation to arranging your insurance or where we are required to by law.

Some or all of the information you supply to us in connection with your insurance proposal will be held on computer and may be passed to insurance and/or other companies for underwriting and claims purposes. From time to time we may contact you directly or via one of our partners at the address you have supplied at the time of booking, or via the email address supplied for the purpose of notifying you that a policy is due to expire and to advise you of other similar products and services.

Under the Data Protection Act 1998 you have a right of access to see personal information about you that is held in our records, whether electronically or manually. Your Duty to Give Information to Insurers
Your insurance is based upon the information provided to the insurance company and you must ensure that all such information is complete and accurate, and that any facts that may influence the insurer’s decision to accept the risk or the terms offered have been disclosed. The duty to disclose information continues during the life of the policy, and at renewal you must make sure you inform your insurer of any changes affecting your insurance. Your policy must be purchased prior to your trip commencing, and must originate from within the United Kingdom.
You are responsible for all answers or statements on proposal forms, claim forms or other material documents and you should ensure these are full and accurate. Failure to disclose material information at the start of the policy or advise the insurer of changes to the risk during the period of insurance may invalidate your insurance cover and could mean that part, or all, of a claim may not be paid.

IMPORTANT - This policy will have been sold to you on a non-advised basis and it is therefore for you to read this information (paying particular attention to the terms and conditions and exclusions) and ensure that it meets all of your requirements. you may already possess alternative insurance(s) for some or all of the features and benefits provided by this product; it is your responsibility to investigate this. If upon reading this policy you find it does not meet all of your requirements, please refer to the relevant cooling off/policy cancellation section.
